"Thank you so much for such an inspiring workshop! I really enjoyed the day and it's fired me up to get started on transforming our patch of gravelly dirt into a productive veggie garden! Can't wait until Saturday morning to get to work." - TIM, Wellington
"Really enjoyed the day on Saturday. Came home very inspired and on Sunday set up a new compost pile, and turned over over the beginnings of a new vege patch." - SOPHIA, Wellington
"Jim’s introduction to our earth radically altered my sensibility. I now live with an enhanced sense of wonder and awe at the marvels of the world of the soil that I have treaded upon and used so mindlessly. Jim has enabled me to see how I can live with what I used to consider as the enemies (weeds, fungi, dead flax and cabbage tree leaves etc.) and how I can with ease let the soil reveal its remarkable potential. In a word: brilliant." - DAVE, Wellington
"Thank you both for your inspiring presentation - I never dreamed I could be overjoyed by soil. Great company, a cracking lunch and the lovely environment of Houghton Bay School made it a day to remember." - GILL, Wellington
"Five years ago, I spent a week with Jim in his garden learning about weeding, making compost, EM juice, compost tea, creating new beds and planting seedlings . Jim has inspired me to grow vegetables with excellency so I put the knowledge to use and have grown remarkable lettuces, Maori potatoes, rock melons and strawberries of 5 star hotels quality (I worked in the food store of one). In 2008-2009 season, I was the 3rd biggest organic strawberry grower in the North Island. Jim is my best gardening teacher and he gives me continous inspirations every time when we catched up." - JULIANA, Coromandel
"I just want to say thank you so much for two days of wonderful teachings from your own organic gardening experience. I appreciate your integrity and determination in the task you have set yourself. You really made me think about everything, and inspired me to try that much more to see and understand the natural community out there (which we are all a part of) - and to learn to cooperate better with nature in my own garden.
I had a fantastic time. I gained a lot of information from the workshops, as well as inspiration. Jim's a great guy. And Carl's approach to landscape design was really interesting to listen to. I will recommend you guys to all my friends. It was also good having the feedback as it went along from the other people attending the workshop, I think it definitely helped having the ideas bounce around and get further clarification for everyone. Meeting people and spending time discussing the various ideas over lunch etc. was great too. - FREDD, Wellington

The seminars were fantastic and I highly recommend them! I'm really looking forward to using their methods in my own garden. - PANIA, Auckland
Hana and Jacob held three Dirt Doctor seminars at my place over the last week. For the last session about micro-organism technologies, Jacob brewed up a batch of compost tea and administered it in various places around my garden. I can't wait to watch everything springing into life! It was a great series of seminars, I can recommend checking them out next time the doctors are in town. - SARAH, Auckland
